So what’s the process…
Step 1.
Once we’ve received your form, we get to work planning your system. We aim to give you a complete spec, quote and system performance figures so you can make an informed decision, all for free! At this point, we can discuss and make any necessary changes.
Step 2.
Now you’re happy with your system, you can purchase it via our online payment page. Want to spread the cost? We offer both Klarna and PayPal finance options. We then get to work on your detailed wiring schematic and manual.
Step 3.
Your system is now ready, we aim to complete each system within 10 working days. You’ll now receive your system along with your wiring diagram and commissioning manual.
Step 4.
We’re here to help you during your installation. Each system purchase comes with remote, technical support in case you get stuck. Not to mention we’ve got your back with any warranty claims or returns.

Off-grid Holiday Cabin
Faced with the challenge of limited budget and no grid access, Offgrid Western crafted a bespoke 12V electrical system that perfectly catered to the cabin's modest energy needs. Utilising efficient 12V appliances, a small solar array, and a compact Fogstar battery bank, we ensured uninterrupted power for lighting, a small fridge, composting toilet, and device charging. Heating and hot water were supplied by an LPG boiler and a tiny wood burner. The two 415W JA Solar panels, combined with a 230Ah Fogstar Drift and Victron solar charging provide all the power the cabin needs, even in the winter, showcasing the viability of low-cost off-grid solutions.

Woodfield Farm
This family-run farm in rural England came to Offgrid Western after receiving a quote for a grid connection of over £250k! Challenged by the isolation of their location, the farm sought energy independence without compromising productivity. We created for them a 48V Victron system, seamlessly integrating solar panels, a robust FuturEnergy wind turbine and a backup JCB generator. This powerful combination ensured a consistent energy supply for the entire farm, supporting cooling systems, a family home, and essential machinery. It works so well that the owners are now looking to increase their solar generation to power a new shop and additional machinery. The Victron VRM platform enables remote monitoring, control and support, empowering the farm owners to manage their energy usage with ease.

Based on the excellent GivEnergy hybrid inverter and battery storage, complete with EV charger.
