Offgrid Western was founded by Tom & Ben, born out of their frustration at the lack of good quality off the shelf off grid energy kits that are easy to work with.

Back in 2021,  Tom and Ben joined forces with their families and purchased 100 acres of woodland and marshland in West Devon. Combining their respective skills to create off grid multi-generational homes for their respective families.  Three generations now successfully live on their off-grid site, with three residential units and a cabin which they let for holidays; all being run on solar and battery storage.

Since then, it has been our mission to develop a simple range of preassembled plug and play off grid kits to help others escape the rat race and to explore sustainable alternatives to rising energy costs.

We’re proud to be able to say our off grid solutions have already helped a wide range of clients on projects of all different sizes: from small field shelters, stables and agricultural buildings, all the way through to off-grid homes, offices and workshops.
